Learn How to Mate in 3: Kingside Attack
This chess puzzle is a classic middlegame mating pattern: a direct kingside attack built around forcing moves, sacrifice, and king safety. The key idea is that active heavy pieces can overwhelm a sheltered king when the defender’s pawn shield has been weakened. Even if the position looks materially balanced, tactical pressure on the king can outweigh everything else. In classical chess, these patterns often appear when one rook or queen can invade the enemy king zone with tempo.
