Learn How to Spot Mate in 2: Opera Mate
This puzzle is a classic opera mate style finish: the attacking side uses active rooks and a vulnerable king to force a quick checkmate. Even though the material balance may look favorable for the defender, king safety matters more than extra pieces. The key idea is to recognize when a checking move drives the king onto a square where the final mating net becomes unavoidable. In chess endgame and classical chess positions, forcing moves often outweigh static material advantage.
