Learn How to Spot Mate in 1: F2-F7 Attack
This puzzle is a classic opening tactic built around king safety and a direct attack on the f7 square, one of the most vulnerable points in classical chess. Even though Black is materially ahead, the exposed king and loose coordination create a forced mating net. In the opening, active pieces and checks often outweigh material, especially when the enemy king is still in the center and key defenders are overloaded or absent.
