Learn How to Attack F7: Mate in 3
This classical chess puzzle shows how a direct kingside attack can punish an exposed king before development is complete. The position comes from the King’s Pawn Game and the Wayward Queen Attack, where White’s pieces are already aimed at the vulnerable f7 square. The key idea is not material, but coordination: queen, bishop, and tempo-gaining checks work together to force the king into a mating net. It is a good example of a middlegame tactical finish from an opening trap.
