Learn How to Mate in 3: Kingside Attack
This middlegame puzzle shows how a king can be punished when the h-file and g-file are weakened and the defending pieces are overloaded. White’s king looks safe at first, but the coordination around the king is fragile. The attacking side uses a forcing sequence that combines attraction, a sacrifice, and a mating net. In classical chess, these patterns often appear when one rook or queen can drag the king into a vulnerable square and then the remaining pieces finish the attack.
