Learn How to Deflect: Queenside Attack
This middlegame puzzle is a classic example of a queenside attack built on deflection and tactical overload. White’s heavy pieces are already active, and the key idea is to force a defender away from an important square so the rest of the position collapses. The position also shows how a pinned piece can become a tactical target when the king is boxed in and the opponent’s queen is overloaded. In classical chess, these patterns often decide games quickly.
