Learn How to Deflect the Defender: King Safety
This puzzle is a classic example of exploiting king safety through deflection and attraction. White’s pieces are coordinated to overload the enemy king’s defenders, especially around the g7 and d7 squares, where one tactical concession can collapse the whole position. Even though Black has extra material, the exposed king and active rook create a forcing sequence that turns a static deficit into a winning attack. In classical chess, these are the moments where activity matters more than raw material.
