Learn How to Deflect: Long Middlegame Pin
This middlegame puzzle is built around a long pin that restricts the defender’s pieces and makes a key pawn vulnerable. The attacking side uses the pinned structure to create a forcing sequence based on deflection: a piece is lured away from an important square or defensive duty, and then the position collapses. In practical classical chess, these motifs often appear when king safety is weakened and one loose piece is doing too many jobs at once.
