Learn How to Deflect: Endgame Fork
This puzzle shows a classic deflection idea in a sharp middlegame transitioning toward an endgame. The key is to lure a defender away from an important square so a second tactical target becomes vulnerable. Once the defender is removed, the remaining pieces can coordinate against the king and loose material. In classical chess, these patterns often appear when a pinned pawn, exposed king, and overloaded queen create a forcing sequence.
