Learn How to Win with a Fork: Endgame Tactic
This chess endgame puzzle is a classic example of tactical attraction: you force the enemy king onto a square where it becomes vulnerable to a fork. Even though material is already imbalanced, the stronger side can still win by using checks to drag the king away from defense and then striking with a knight fork. The key idea is that active pieces and king placement matter more than raw material in many endgames, especially when the opponent’s king is exposed.
