Rubinstein Variation Puzzle (Rated 1038): Coerce — Mate in 2

This puzzle is a classic example of coercion: one forcing move restricts the king’s choices and drives it onto a square where the final attack becomes unavoidable. The position is tactical rather than quiet, with White’s king exposed in the center and Black’s pieces coordinating to create a mating net. Even though White has material and active pieces, the king’s vulnerability overrides everything. In classical chess, forcing moves often decide the game faster than material count.
