Learn How to Mate in 3: Kingside Attack
This puzzle is a classic opening trap where development and king safety outweigh material. White’s pieces are already aimed at the enemy king, and the exposed black monarch creates a forcing tactical window. In these positions, the best move is often a check that drags the defender into a worse square or removes a key blocker. Even though Black is materially ahead, the attack wins because the king has too few safe squares and the pieces around it are overloaded.
