Maneuver Puzzle (Rated 1433): Coerce — Mate in 2

This chess puzzle is a classic example of coercion: one forcing move limits the defender’s choices and drags the king into a worse square. The position is built around king safety, with Black’s pieces coordinating against the white king and the attack becoming decisive once the king is forced to move. Even though White has extra material, tactical pressure matters more than material count here. The key idea is to use a forcing check to control the enemy king’s escape squares.
