Coordination Puzzle (Rated 1089): Coercion — Mate in 2

This puzzle is a classic example of coercion: White uses a forcing check to drag the king onto a vulnerable square, then finishes with a rook invasion. The position is built around active pieces, an exposed king, and a heavy piece that is overloaded defending key squares. Even though Black has major material, the king’s lack of shelter makes the tactical idea decisive. In classical chess, forcing moves often outweigh material when the enemy king is boxed in.
